Wow, it has been a week & 2243 miles of travel. "Are we there yet?" Well, not quite. Since we still have over a week until the wedding, we are going to make a side trip to cut through Yellowstone before heading to Missoula. We have already driven the Bear Tooth Highway (US 212 through Red Lodge, MT), one of the more beautiful roads in the country, so this trip we decided to visit Cody, WY by heading down US 14. Here is a photo from one of the Hogbacks along the drive:
From there we continued into Cody & the 7K's RV Park; a bit run down, but the manager was interesting. The park is across from the rodeo. We stopped at the local Walmart for an extension cord. It is getting very hot - we used the fan for the first time in the tent aince the temperature was 96°.
