Karin gave us a tour of Missoula. An interesting city of around 52,000. It does have the feel of a college town, but with a western slant. Very friendly people, lots of things to do, places to eat, etc. We decided to take a trip for part of the weekend to see some of the surrounding area. Of course to do that we had to leave a bunch of stuff at Karin & Brian's - when we travel the van is full, including the rear seats. We don't even think about taking the third row seats - they are in the garage at Oswego! Here is a photo of their house (sharp eyes will notice that the date on the photo is from next week - I cheated, but I promise the house didn't change between dates).

Our first stop was at the local Target store to buy Carol a new camera. She is now the proud owner of a Nikon Touch 70 35mm camera.
After that we got on an interstate for the first time on the trip; I90, and headed for the Pipestone Campground near Whitehall, MT.
