Today started of as a sad one - Karin & Brian left to return to Washington at 9:30AM. We miss them already! On a happier note - today is Carol & my 41st anniversary!
Not sure what we will do today - we are all a bit over sunned so the beach may be out, although is is a beautiful day for it. We do have to do some shopping. A friend of David's brought us a fillet of Stripped Bass that David & I will have for dinner, but we will need to find something for the non fish eaters...
We went to the Hospital Thrift Shop. A great place for books, knick knacks, etc. All the money collected by the volunteers that run it goes to support the Nantucket Cottage Hospital. After that, a short stop at Shop & Stop for dinner stuff & home. After our Stripped Bass & hamburger dinner, we went to Madaket for the sunset. It is a great location since it is the West end of the Island. Also, because Hither Creek is on the East side of the area we go to, the moon rise is also interesting.
