The Sterling Renaissance Festival Page 2

Since I will be in Nantucket during Harborfest, and won't be doing a series of pages of the weekend, I am posting some photos and information from a visit to the Sterling Renaissance Festival. Carol & I helped run a stained glass booth built by a friend during the first year of the festival. Although she has since moved to France, the Festival goes on!

This weekend the Festival held a "Renewal Of Vows" celebration. A former co-worker at the Theatre Department at Oswego and good friend's daughter was a participant in the renewal (I suspect you can pick them out in the photos) so we joined them for the day.

The Festival has grown in the 34 years since it started. Rather than describe the festival, I'll include a bunch of photos of the Festival & the Renewal of Vows. If you want to know more about it, the link above includes lots of information.
