OK, watching balloons floating into the sky is fun, and the civilized time of 6:30PM works great. However, the morning launch takes place at 6:30AM. Much too early for retired people! Anyhow, there was very little wind so the balloons launched very slowly, at least compared to the more windy launches yesterday. They were also able to do some "up & down" flights over the park which was more interesting for the viewers that just flying away like yesterday. I also got some close up photos of the passengers - some had great expressions as they rose into the air! Some photos from the morning:

We went back for the evening balloon launch - this time the lighthouse actually took off!

After the flight of the lighthouse balloon we headed back to the house for dinner. We plan to make the 6:30AM lift off tomorrow, after which I'll head back to Oswego to man the O"Mara House Tourist Center for the afternoon.
