Although most of the trips on these pages were made by my wife Carol & myself, I ran across a file cabinet of old negatives from a 1950 trip across the country my family took when I was 5 years old. There were five of us in a 1938 Plymouth pulling a home built "camping trailer" - My mom & dad, Jocelyn & Rodney, brother Steven at 3 & sister Jan at 1. I don't remember much of the trip (although I do remember posing for the picture with the Indian) so I am going by the negative envelope for the locations. By the way, most of the images are on 2 1/4" X 3/ 1/4" sheet film taken with my father's Speed Graphic press camera. A few were taken by my mom - not sure what camera she used.
I'll give locations when I know them, and may add to the images when I get a chance to do more scans.
