After wintering in Quartzsite, AZ, I decided to attend the winter fireworks program at the SARA Park Rodeo Grounds after the annual fiberglass trailer rally. While I arrived at the campground on the 12th, the nightly fireworks didn't start until Thursday, the 15th. There are programs where "Open Shooting" takes place 6:00PM to 10:00PM with some hour long breaks for "Public Display" programs. A major public program takes place Saturday night, with a Member Showcase on Sunday. The end result is lots of fireworks!

Some Samples - Many of these are of single bursts rather than a "show". Manufacturers and individuals use the show to demo their products & designs for most of the event, with "shows" as only part of the program. The first "show" was on Friday.

While I have seen & photographed some excellent fireworks at my hometown's Harborfest Festival put on by Fireworks by Grucci, I've seen some very different and innovative shells at this program.
