Today we made the short drive from Livingston to Missoula. Karin suggested we try taking US 10A/MT 1 rather than I 90 since she knows we'd rather stay off the interstates. A pretty road that went by one of the few full lakes we saw in MT. We settled in to room 119 at the Bel Air Motel in Missoula Until Monday, the 7th, when we head to Glacier for the wedding. Not the classiest motel I've been in, but a lot more room than the tent! We spent most of the week end driving around Missoula, visiting the campus, Karin, and the Missoula Merry-go-round.

The "Carousel for Missoula" was started in 1991, opened in 1996, and was wholly hand carved by hundreds of volunteers. Since Carol loves Merry-Go-Rounds, you know we had to stop. The Calliope was great fun to watch, and I loved the "No Smoking" sign in the bathroom.
