A nice, almost rain free day! I took a couple of walks around the campground with the camera, taking a few more photos. I did see a Compact II, a Trillium, and an Escape 15 added to the blend of trailers. After lunch I headed to the nearest Safeway about 6 miles away for supplies & the makings of an apple pie. Unfortunately, my signature pot luck dish of blueberry pie isn't going to happen until they are in season. This time of year it takes about $30.00 worth of blueberries to make a pie!
We had a "Meal on a Stick" around the campfire. I watched someone cook a hamburger on a pair of forks - quite a trick. I stuck with a pair of cheese brots on a forked stick. After dinner it was a beer swap. Everyone brings a 6 pack of their favorite local brew, and in about 1 minute the swaps are done. If it works out right, you have 6 bottles of beer that are new to you. The last photo is of my collection.
We hung around the campfire after the beer swap until it started to rain. Of course, by the time I got back to the trailer it pretty much stopped, but it was time to put together today's page anyway.
Until Tomorrow -
