I made a short, (well, not all that short since it was 350 miles) one day trip to see the fall colors in the Adirondacks. While it was a little early for the good color, at least in the lower sections of the park that I visited, I did make a stop at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake. Some photos from the visit here.
I also made my usual stop at Buttermilk Falls on the way to the museum. Easy to get to, but difficult to photograph in the afternoon - the sun is aimed directly into the camera. Just a little bit of flare...
