The 21st Oswego Pumpkinfest broke a bunch of records. First, the weather was perfect! Next, the heaviest squash ever grown in New York and the United States weighed in at 1221.5 lbs! And to top it off, the heaviest pumpkin ever entered in the 21 years of Oswego's Pumpkinfest weighed in at 1598.5 lbs.
Lots of activities along with the weigh ins - bands, craft & food booths, a great time had by all. The photos below are in the order of weighing, and include Watermelon, Connecticut Field Pumpkins, Giant Pumpkins, Squash, and longest gourd.
