We checked with the US Air web site to be sure Karin's flight was on time. Last year it was a few hours late, but it appears to be on schedule today. We checked back just after it was suppose to leave & it got off the ground only 9 minutes late. Pretty good for Washington, DC!

The airport is a mess. They are building another new terminal. Not to sound like a native, but I remember when the airport was one small building, close to what was depicted in the Wings TV show. Anyway, we found a parking spot (Carol's parking magic got the only one available & it was near the front) and hit the waiting area. They arrived on time & we headed home.

I suspect you will have to put up with lots of Valerie photos over the next few days; the combination of Valerie, GrandPa & a camera is too much! Well, we are putting together a list & will be heading out to the Shop & Stop this afternoon.

After Stop & Shop I cooked the Mako Shark fillet a friend of David's dropped off last night. I don't know much about cooking shark, so I just treated it like a piece of swordfish. No one complained, so I guess it was OK.

After dinner I went down to the Brant Point Lighthouse. Tonight the moon rises as the sun sets, so I thought it would be a good evening to catch the "golden hours" & take some moon rise photos.

As long as it was dark, I also decided to take a couple of long exposures I'll use for next week's photography blog post. The first is shooting up Main Street & the second is the town dock.
