Couldn't quite figure out what the guy in jeans was doing - looks like a small camera, but didn't have enough resolution to be sure.
We made the required annual (well, annual except for last year for me) trip to 'Sconset for ice cream. If you are looking at a Nantucket map, 'Sconset was originally called Siasconset but everyone has shortened the name. On the way discovered the camera is producing color, not sure why it looked black & white at the house. While there it started to pour and discovered that the camera makes interesting patterns shooting through water on the lens cover. We made our daily stop at Stop & Shop, came home & closed the windows on the van - it is only a little damp, and are sitting around reading.
When Dave got home from work we discovered that the "Men From Black" scenario is closer than we thought. He says the helicopter is the DEA looking for marijuana plants. They use infrared cameras to check for the heat signatures that marijuana gives off. In any case, they hung around for about 1/2 hour & left.
We finished off the spaghetti & meatballs, and a couple of fish cakes for dinner.
