Today was a goof off day. I didn't do anything rather than walk around the campground a couple of times. There are a couple of concrete pads that are labeled as handicapped sites, located close to the bathrooms with concrete walkways going to the building. The rules are that you can't take one (unless, of course, you have a handicap hanging tag) until all other campsites are filled. The rule is according to the hosts - I don't see it written at the pay station or in the park brochure. In any case, people keep pulling in, then getting second thoughts & leaving.
Now, at 4:30, all the sites but one are filled, and someone checked with the host & pulled in to a handicap site. The one open standard site is too short & slanted for an RV. There is still one handicap site open, however I don't expect for long.
I carried my camera on one of the walks around the campground & took photos of some of the formations that are part of the rocks surrounding the place. Lots of crags & crevices, arches, shallow caves, etc. It is a beautiful place to stay.

Dinner will be more of the left over chicken and a salad. Eight pieces goes a long way for one person!
Until Tomorrow -
