Friday, March 1, 2019 - Gilbert Ray Campground, Tucson, AZ, Day 6 - 0 Miles, 8,523.4 Miles for the Trip
A beautiful day in Tucson! It made it to 78°F during the afternoon with some thin clouds. Last night I tried to take some star photos since the campground is very open, and there are few nearby lights. Few nearby, but lots over the horizon in just about every direction. I'm going to have to wait for a location a bit further from civilization. After breakfast I did some bills & updated my expenses database.
I did move the hummingbird feeder, and got a few useful images:

I drove into town to pick up my prescriptions. There is some kind of bicycle thing going on at the entrance to the campground. No left turn on McCain Loop road, and a gate across the campground entrance that they open to let you in & out. There was a Safeway next to the Walgreens, so I picked up some fruit, asparagus, and snacks.
Dinner was the last of the frozen Quartzsite New York Strip steaks. Again, the package of 4 was not as good as the individual steaks I first purchased, and this was the toughest of them. I also had some steamed asparagus.
Until Tomorrow -
