Other Rallies

Another weekend, another rally. The Guidos & I (along with many others) attended the Algonac Rally last weekend, and 250 miles or so to the east are at Niagara Falls, Ontario for the Niagara Wine Escape Rally. While it is a rally open to any & all fiberglass trailers (as well as others), the predominant brand is the Escape. Still, some Bigfoots, Trilliums, Scamps & at least one Casita.

We arrived on Wednesday, but I didn't start this page until the official start on Friday.

Friday, September 15, 2023:

A cool night, going down to 49°F, but it quickly warmed up by afternoon. I spent the morning baking pies for the pot luck, then made a round of the campground taking photos:

Saturday, September 16th:

The "Blue Tarp" free stuff started at 9:00AM. The last photo of the tarp was what was left at 10:45. Unfortunately, a lot of the remains were mine.

Around 11:00 I made another round of the trailers. Many were doing "tours" of the various trailers. Rallies are a great opportunity to see other makes of trailers & what the owners have dome with them.

The pot luck dinner started around 5:15. Great food provided by & for all. After the dinner Alf called the site numbers for door prizes. Finally, we headed around the evening campfire.
