Day 21, Saturday, November 8, 2025, - Bob M. Dearing Natchez State Park, Natchez, MS, Day 3 - 0 Miles, 1594.8 Miles for the Trip

Another warm night with all the windows open & the MAXX fan on automatic. It stopped running around 2:00AM, but the electric heater never came on. 62°F by 6:00AM & 64°F for my morning walk.

I didn't do much other than read for the entire day. I did move outside for most of the afternoon. It is nice to have weather in the 70's. According to my weather app, a cold air mass is on the way, with night time temperatures starting tomorrow near freezing, both here and Anacoco, the nearest town to South Toledo Bend State Park where I'm heading tomorrow.

Around 3:30 I hooked up the truck. I could have left it hooked up - I never went anywhere. Both the Natchez barber shops wanted appointments that were running into the middle of next week. Overnight low for tonight is predicted to be 55F, so I won't bother to unhook the water until the morning.

A shower report - there are two, one handicapped. The standard shower has a small drying area with a couple of broken hooks, a bench & a high shelf. No shower curtain between the drying area & the shower. The water temperature is adjustable with a single handle control & a 2" medium volume shower head. While the shower head is at right angle to the opening to the drying area, the floor is flat and the dividing wall narrow. Spray covers most of the drying area floor. One plus - there is an electric heater on the wall across from the shower that can be turned on by users. Even with that, the best I can give it is a C+.

Dinner was a Ming's Chicken Ramen bowl.

Until Tomorrow -
