Day 160, Friday, March 27, 2026 - Panther Creek State Park, Morristown, TN - 174 Miles, 6,697.6 Miles for the Trip.
61°F overnight, 69°F for my afternoon walk, 73 °F at noon, & and the high for the day was 73°F (69°F at the campground).
Another mostly interstate trip. No entry station at Panther Creek, so I went to my site & set up. When I got back from a trip to Walmart there was a tag with my name & dates on the site. I'm in site 10, a back in site on asphalt with a picnic table, fire ring & charcoal grill. Water & electric for 2 nights at $29.66 per night with a 25% senior discount and taxes. I needed 2 1/2" side to side & a 2" drop on the tongue to level.

Since it is time for my 5K oil change, I called the local Ford dealer, but their schedule was full. I'll try at the next stop and if they can't fit me in I'll look for an instant oil change. I prefer the dealer, but it is too far to wait until I get back to Oswego.
It looks like rain, but so far just heavy clouds. The predicted low is 34°F tonight with tomorrow's high at 55°F. I sat inside the trailer and read. Around 4:45 a light rain started, stopped by 5:00. Unfortunately, the rain didn't stop my loud neighbors. They just went inside and turned up the radio. It doesn't happen often (this is the first for this trip) but loud neighbors is just a part of staying in campgrounds. It will soon be cold enough to close up all the windows, which will help.
I ran a speed test on both Verizon & AT&T. Verizon shows 20.64Mbps down & 2.86Mbps up. AT&T clocks in at 43.69Mbps down & 2.06Mbps up. I am running on AT&T and it works well.
Dinner was a Healthy Choice Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with Broccoli Bowl.
