Friday, February 18, 2022, Imperial Dam BLM LTVA, Winterhaven, CA, Day 2 - 0 Miles, 4,222.2 Miles for the Trip

A cool night at 40°F but warm day with light to medium wind. I've found the Imperial Dam area tends to be windier than Quartzsite. I went for a mile walk, ate breakfast, read for a bit then walked another mile to the dumpsters. I've done photos before, but for those that don't want to search through my many stays at Imperial Dam, here are a few from this year:

While they mention that there are showers at Imperial Dam, they don't note that they are cold water & outside. There are standard pay ($1.00 for 5 minutes with a token) at the BLM campground on the other side of the dam.

Cold Water Outdoor Showers 8 Water Fill Stations 4 Dump Stations The North Shore Area
The Office One of the Hosts The Liberry In An Old Airstream Inside The Liberry

That was about it for the day. It warmed up nicely (maybe more than nicely with the clear sky & powerful sun) to 78°F in the trailer & 75°F outside.

Dinner was a Marie Callender's Swedish Meatball Bowl.

Until Tomorrow -
