One of the most popular Nantucket bumper stickers (other than ACK & It Used to be Nice in Nantucket) is Fog Happens. Nantucket does get a lot of fog. This morning was no exception & it never burned off. I took the Olympus TG810 with me on my jog this morning & took a couple of photos of the fogged in island. One problem with fog - it is very difficult to capture in a photograph. The main reason is that what creates the interest in a foggy image is what you can't se, but know is there. Of course a photograph can't show what is missing, so much of the drama is missing. In addition, most foggy photographs simply look like low contrast images - they don't work all that well. In any case, a couple from this morning:

After that it was back to the house. David put most of the lawn furniture & other "blowable" (is that a word?) stuff away, although at this point it looks like it will be more a rain storm than wind. In any case, better to be prepared.
We will be having steaks, corn on the cob &" something" for dinner. Still thinking about what "something".
