Other Rallies I've Attended

I am in the process of purchasing an Escape 17B, a 17' fiberglass trailer that is light enough to tow behind my RAV4. Since they can be ordered with a number of options, I have been taking every chance I can to look at what others have done with their fiberglass trailers. Since most of them are not sold through dealers, but directly from the factory, visiting with owners is one of the best ways to find out what works & doesn't work. There are many brands available although some of the manufacturers are no longer in business. Unlike conventional RVs that age rather rapidly, fiberglass trailers seem to last forever. It is not unusual to find 1970 era trailers that have been restored to like new condition.

With that in mind I headed out to Niagara Falls - the Riverside Park Motel & Campground, and the Niagara Escape Rally. First stop - a brief look at the Falls. One thing I can say for them - they have gotten more expensive than they were at my last visit. $18.00 for parking!

Saturday evening everyone sat down to a pot luck dinner. plenty of food for all, including seconds. Escape Trailer Industries supplied some door prizes so drawings were held. A good time had by all!
