Another Week, Another Storm! January 30, 2008
Winds peaking at 65 miles per hour whipped up the lake today. Some pictures taken at the Lighthouse Breakwall, behind SUNY Oswego, and near Rudys.

It is Fall in Oswego. Spent a couple of hours at some of my favorite Fall locations:
Started out at the Sterling Nature Center. It's not in Oswego, in fact, not even in Oswego County, but only a couple of miles West.

After the Nature Center, it was off to the Rice Creek Field Station. Owned by the State University of New York at Oswego, the Rice Creek Field Station has many trails, along which are labels for many of the trees & flowers.

The Central New York Great Pumpkin Festival - October 6 & 7, 2007
The CNY Great Pumpkin Festival takes place in Oswego October 6 & 7 this year. As of 2:00, Saturday afternoon, the largest pumpkin was weighed in at 1405.5 lbs, grown by Bill Bobier.

Oswego Harborfest - July 25 - 29, 2007
Well, it's Harborfest time again in Oswego! This year it started off with a new event - a Fireworks Waterfall off the foot bridge crossing the Oswego River.More photos at Harborfest Opening Fireworks Waterfall
