I made a 111 day trip across the US & Canada during the summer of 2011. On the trip I visited 20 National Parks & 40 State Parks. On June 24 -26, I visited Yellowstone National Park & the Grand Tetons National Park. Both parks are beautiful and quite different even though they are less than 70 miles apart. I have to admit I prefer the Tetons - great hiking opportunities, beautiful mountains, rivers & lakes, and far less popular than Yellowstone. Still, if you are in the area be sure to visit both.
I've included some photos taken along Mormon Row, some buildings made famous by Ansel Adams. Even though I was there 3 days, I never got the lighting I wanted, but against the Tetons, they are wonderful subjects.
